ERT is the new Employee Requested Transfer process implemented company-wide. Minimum training requirements have been identified for all Portland jobs, and as courses are completed for specific jobs, they are then moved into the new ERT system. Portland is well on its way shifting to the new system. Portland Industrial Skills Training Center The majority of ERT requirements can be fulfilled by completing self-paced courses in the Industrial Skills Training Center Lab (aka Skills Lab).
ERT Courses (class list) enable employees wishing to transfer within Category C jobs to satisfy the minimum training requirements identified for all Portland jobs in the ERT system. To enroll, see "How to Enroll in Portland Self-Paced Courses". The majority of ERT requirements can also be fulfilled by successfully completing ERT course Challenge Tests.
