Educational and Training Plan Development

Career Advisors provide information on which schools are covered by the Education Assistance program, assist with developing college training plans, evaluate required training for jobs in the Employee Requested Transfer Program (ERT) process, and help locate and register for training with The Boeing Company. Transition Assistance for WARNed and Laid-Off Workers

Career Advisors are the first point of contact for WARNed or laid-off employees. Transition assistance is available with help in decision making, selection of re-training programs, referral to government sponsored programs for funding, or assistance with a job search.

Career Resource Library

IAM-represented employees have access to Career and Education Resource Libraries located at several QTTP Advisor locations. Information on career and personal development topics as well as English and math are available for use in the library or on loan. Catalogs and class schedules of community and technical colleges and local private schools are on hand to help guide members to their programs of interest.
